Isabella Redmond Styles

I am an experienced Psychodynamic Psychotherapist offering both in person and online sessions. I have a particular interest in and experience with trauma and complex trauma.

Whether you’re dealing with challenges in interpersonal relationships, wanting to develop a better understanding of yourself or looking to gain more insight into your feelings and the experiences that have shaped you, I work with a range of mental health issues and emotional challenges.

Sometimes our own feelings don’t make sense to us and we behave in ways we don’t understand. Psychodynamic psychotherapy aims to explore feelings and behaviour that affect our mental wellbeing and our relationships with others, but remain mostly outside of our awareness.

Working towards a greater understanding of our feelings, behaviour and relationships can help us develop a better sense of identity and give us the freedom to lead a more fulfilling life.

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process where, as well as looking at what is going on for you in the here and now, we may spend time reflecting on your experiences growing up and exploring other memories. This is because making sense of the past can help us untangle the present and find our way towards the future we want.

Alongside trauma, my particular areas of interest include struggles with interpersonal relationships, family dysfunction, grief, addiction, sexuality and psychosexual issues.
